Do you think motorcycle numbers will go up or down as gasoline heads toward $9.99/gal over the coming years?

Mr SmartyPants is indeed a smarty pants, but yeah im hoping the states follow what California is doing which is building a highspeed train from LA to San Francisco (i think they go like 300 mph), but yeah what i'd prefer is that majority of domestic travel will be through these trains, people always complain about the crappy service in domestic flights, that way airlines can almost exclusively work on international, and hybrid/electric vehicles will never "vastly" increase until all the oil is literally gone, until then the States wont have a sense of urgency to develop alternative fuel automobiles until then, and i was talking to a local kawasaki dealer and he told me more people are buying motorcycles because of the weather and cause of gas prices
