Can you please clarify the differences in English idioms?

Hi, I'm a Japanese and earnest English learner. I would like someone's help to clarify the differences between "walk through" and "go through". I'm supposing both has a common meaning of "to review step by step". For instance, someone opens a business meeting with a statement "today's agenda is to walk through the latest proposal." In this case, if we use "go through" in stead of "walk through", is there any differential at work? My English dictionary bought in Japan doesn't explain how they differ... thanks a million for your help.
